Everything has been extremely busy...I guess that's cuz I decided to add puppy training to my load, so yeah...lol. But Magnet the puppy is amazing and teeny and cute. I don't remember if I wrote about him already. I need to get pictures on here. A non-dead camera would be cool. I always forget to charge it. I have solemnly vowed to myself that once I own my very own house, I am buying a German Shepherd. I love them and I don't know why. Maybe cuz they're awesome? So today I go with my father to get his tax info for FAFSA, and to speak about taking the car. I have my doubts as to whether he'll really give it to me, but whatever. It beats buying one. Big green vans guzzle gas...maybe by paying more initially, I'd save myself in the long run. I'm still very much plugging away at school. Getting great grades. It's wonderful except for the fact that I'm most likely starting a job now and will either need to sacrifice a social life or schoolwork. But the upside is that since I'm getting my car soon, I might not have to make a sacrifice at all, since getting places will be a hell of alot faster than walking. I registered for classes Monday. I was very proud of myself for avoiding procrastination. I was there before registration even opened. Of course I did miss math that morning, but that's ok, cuz it'll end up being better for me in the sense that I actually got into the classes I need. I'm going to have to knock out the necessary science courses one at a time...they say it's suicide to attempt to do more than one at the same time. I'd rather do them right than have to do them over. The way I figure it is that it'll probably take 3 or so more semesters after the fall semester I just registered for to finish the necessary sciences because I've already finished all the other pre reqs. Then I'll do nursing 106, and after that, I'll be accepted into the actual program in which there are like 5 or so courses, but don't quote me on that one, there may be more. I'll probably be here for another 3 or 4 years...then I'll move on to my bachelor's. Sounds like a good plan...But I'm just working step by step to keep my grades up. Of course I picked the damn reading intensive history class in which she expects us to do 9 hours minimum of reading outside of class. Dad should be at school now to pick me up... Meanwhile I have an English research paper, a Psych media paper, and tests in psych and history to think about. It's gonne be a busy few weeks... |
